遂に、300セットが入荷されて、来週月曜日より順次出荷開始だそうである。早ければ4/8には何らかのレポートが出来る予定。乞うご期待！発送オプションを無料配送にしたので、15～25日かかる orz 今月末に期待。

Many customers were asking for the shipping date of DSO Quad, i promised we will start shipping them on Mar 29th. I said this because the manufacturing company promised us to send 50 sets as pioneer batch, we wait and wait, finally we got 2 samples this morning. （Yes, only 2!) I really don’t want to blame anyone else but this is absolutely frustrating. I have to say sorry for breaking my words, and i really hope i didn’t.
Now we will start testing these samples received and send feedbacks to the factory, i can’t tell the accurate shipping date but i will post any updates here if possible. if any of you want to cancel your order, just drop a mail to fan(at)seeedstudio.com. I will be pleased to help you with the cancellation.

バックオーダー制なので、もう入金処理をして決済されているが、下の動画を見ても小さく、かなり完成度が高い様に思えるので、期待が大きい。私はまだ待ち続ける事にする。到着次第レビュー予定。（多分分解だｗ）

During the spring festival in Feb, all business in market were closed until people came back from hometown. We were hoping that we could ship DSO Quad before March but the sequela caused by spring festival is worse than we thought. Due to the 15 days break, many parts needed by DSO Quad were out of stock, and this is really frustrating.
Right now manufacturing for Quad is going smoothy, we are hoping to ship your DSO before next weekend. Sorry again for the delay, and thank you for your trusting !

既に、プリオーダーとして受注を開始しているDSO Quadであるが、1/5よりパッケージデザインコンテストを開催している模様。締め切りは1/31まで。
レギュレーションは以下の通り
The box will be made of cardboard, 19x11x5 CM size.その他必要な情報や写真、イラストレータデータ(*.al)等のリソースファイルのダウンロードは、こちらのページより参照できる。
Color can be White, Black, Gray or Green. (Allowed to use together)

来年1月1日より開発前段階の予約開始で、2月には量産が開始見込みだそうだ。これは目が離せない。
実に美しいフォルム。4現象もあれば実用レベルだよな。
DSO Nano v2登場 そして・・・・ DSO Quad !? ― 2010/09/22 23:59:32
seeed studioの超小型オシロスコープ、DSO NanoはリニューアルしてDSO Nano v2として販売している。旧式のはもう手に入らない模様だ。
旧DSO Nanoの十字キーの使い難さや、スタンドが無かった等の事も、このv2モデルでは解消されている。デザインよりも機能性を重視した設計を採用した様だ。
旧DSO NanoとDSO Nano V2の違いは、意匠（形状など）だけの違いなので、今後発表されるv2用のファームウェアは、キーの操作違いはあるものの、そのまま使用が可能だろう。
ところで、最近のseeed studio Blogには、DSO Quadなるものを考えているらしい。アナログ2系統、デジタル2系統を観測できる予定だ。表示写真はseeed studioと違って、e-DesignのGUIぽい。尤もジョグスイッチ2個、プッシュスイッチ4個の構成なので、最終製品では画面構成が大きく変わるだろう。
基板を見る限りではかなり本気な設計で、FPGAで高速に処理を行い、ADCも外部で変換という気合の入れようだ。ADCは8ビットか10ビットの2モデルを考えている様だが、人気の低価格オシロスコープOWION PDS5022Sが8ビットで十分実用な事を考えると8ビットでも良い気がする。この辺のスペックはまだまだ変更される可能性があるだろう。
ハード的に期待の持てるものだが、なんといってもスタンド兼リストバンドの意匠が一番インパクトが高い！どれだけオシロを身に付ける需要があるかは分らないが、アクセサリーで心電図インターフェースなんて販売されるかもしれない。
予定価格は150ドル以上になる可能性があるとブログで告知されている。
オシロスコープフリークなら、チェックしておくのがお勧めだ。
